I graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences, which allowed me to work with developmentally disabled children for three years. It was truly rewarding and challenging in all the best ways. Although I loved my job, I always found myself drawn to the beauty industry.

I experienced my first set of lashes while preparing for my engagement photo shoot in Bellevue, WA, back in 2011. Not only did I love the lash therapy sessions with my lash specialist, but I also loved the confidence those lashes gave me. After learning more about the aesthetics industry, I knew I wanted to provide others with the same boost in confidence and joy that lashes and self-care appointments brought me. Over time, lashing became more than a job—it became therapeutic and fun, and it still is to this day. There’s nothing better than the moment when a client opens their eyes and loves what they see.

I introduced the lash game to Olympia before many people even knew about it. After years of training and working in local salons—and months of stressing to meet the growing demand of my returning clientele—I decided I needed more flexibility in my schedule to accommodate everyone. That’s when Primp was born. Over the last eight years, I’ve trained several local lash artists, and I take great pride in seeing them thrive as business owners in the industry.

Doing lashes and permanent makeup started as something fun; I never imagined it would change my life. It’s an incredible feeling when your passion and career align. Every day, I get to hang out with amazing women while making them feel beautiful—and I get to call it "work." I love being the person who helps someone feel confident and beautiful, not just on the outside but also on the inside.

It has always been my dream to provide a "one-stop-shop" for all things beauty, and that dream has come true. At Primp, we offer lashes, brows, microblading, makeup artistry, spray tans, teeth whitening, and dermaplaning. Our space is welcoming, on-trend, and sought after by clients up and down the West Coast.
